German business magazine Industry of Things has taken a close look at our AI solution Fred. Entitled „KI im Mittelstand: Entweder jetzt oder viel zu spät“ (“AI in SMEs: Either now or far too late”), the article describes how we combine generative AI and modern database technology in our AI assistant to create practical services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
The article focuses on the application at microhotel provider Roatel, where Fred now answers the majority of guest questions. The example illustrates how Fred can support SMEs in searching for information and automating central processes – from CRM, project and personnel planning to sales and financial reports. In particular, the text highlights the analysis of structured as well as unstructured data using Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector search.
