Things are moving in the construction industry: sales support specialist Hochpunkt and the data processing experts at Brain4Data are intensifying their existing collaboration in the field of AI-supported construction object evaluation. This capability of FRED, Brain4Data’s digital assistant, will be offered exclusively by Hochpunkt in future. This makes the company from Überherrn the first to utilize the possibilities of artificial intelligence for the qualification of construction objects. A respective contract was signed by both parties this week.
FRED collects building objects from various data sources and evaluates them based on individual criteria that customers define in advance together with Hochpunkt. On the basis of artificial intelligence, a very detailed evaluation and precise prioritization of the construction objects is possible. FRED can thus accurately evaluate which construction projects offer the most potential for customers in the construction supply industry. Only limited resources are available in sales. FRED ensures that these are used for the really relevant contract opportunities. This saves time and costs, leads to more motivation among sales staff and more orders in the contractor business.
For Hochpunkt, the acquisition represents an important step on the road to the AI age, as Chief Executive Officer Raphael Schäfer explains. “With FRED, we have a tool that will take property sales in the construction industry to a new level,” says Schäfer. “It will allow us to tailor our already extensive portfolio even better to the wishes of our customers, always with the aim of making sales processes more efficient.”
Brain4Data CEO Stefan Rupp-Heitzmann is also delighted after signing the contract: “The cooperation gives us the necessary freedom to focus fully on the further development of our AI services,” says Rupp-Heitzmann. Brain4Data will continue to be involved in the maintenance and updating of the Hochpunkt-FRED. “ This allows us not only to bundle our expertise, but also to benefit from the experience we have gained in various areas – beyond building object evaluation.”
